I've seen kill bill so many times that it's a wonder I'm not sick of it. I only saw it once in theaters, but after my boyfriend bought the DVD it got played every time one of his friends came over. I caught myself whistling that little tune that Elle Driver whistles in the hospital while I was at work today. it is a good movie though..but not for the faint of stomach.

the second one is a lot more tame in terms of blood.

    <font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Yeah, I kinda agree with that.

Vol. 2 answers all of the questions about The Bride and why she wants to kill Bill. While the characters (like Budd, Elle, etc.) would be a mystery, the plot is nicely tied up for the most part.

More than anything, Vol. 2 is the western of the series, with some kung-fu homages and a nod to Lucio Fulci. Overall, I liked Vol. 1 a little better, but Vol. 2 is really good.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I don't see how it makes sense to watch part 2 before part 1. part 2 does go back and explain a bit more of what went on in part 1, so that may be what they're talking about, but it's best to see the films in order.

the only thing I wasnt crazy about was the unrealistic blood sprays when something was cut off or someone was stabbed.

yeah he wanted to go for a sort of "campy" 70's Kung Fu feel, I dunno how much they used the blood spray technique back then, but, hell, let's just say they weren't going for it to really be that realistic
